At G&P, we produce fully custom, cable-knit traditional sweaters in two distinct styles, both designed for sport and built to last.

Whether for village cricket, schools, or representative sides, our sweaters are made to order, finished to a high standard, and built to represent your club with pride.

100% Wool – Traditional Thick-Knit

Our wool sweater is UK-manufactured and produced in a proper thick cable knit.

It is substantial. Warm. Made for early-season cricket in the UK when the wind still bites, and the sun hasn’t quite arrived.

Our acrylic option offers a lighter knit with added practicality.

It keeps the traditional look while allowing machine washing on a cool cycle. Ideal for schools and clubs needing a more accessible price point without sacrificing presentation.

Fully Customisable Traditional Cricket Sweaters

Fully Custom

Every sweater is made to order, with a V-neck as standard and crew neck available on enquiry. Stripes are knitted into the garment, with multiple trim options and fully customisable colours, including Pantone matching. We ensure club colours and trims are matched accurately.

Embroidered & Detailed

Your club identity matters. We offer embroidered crests (the most popular option) or woven badges, with player initials or numbers available. All embroidery is completed in-house in Kent and finished properly — no off-the-shelf applications, no shortcuts.

Worn at Every Level

G&P sweaters have been supplied to representative sides including Buckinghamshire, Ireland and England Over 40s. While we’re proud to work at that level, our main focus remains village clubs, schools and grassroots cricket across the UK.

How to order your traditional sweater

Step One

Get in contact with us through email and let us know some details about your project.

Step Two

We will ask you for reference photos, colour ideas, and style preferences. Typically, sharing a photo of your club crest works well for finding a Pantone colour match.

Step Three

We produce digital designs for every order to ensure that our design matches your vision. Once approved, we will start crafting your traditional sweater
